Chen Chi has represented a wide range of clients, from governments to private individuals, and is known for her strategic approach in navigating complex legal issues in both arbitration and court proceedings.
A graduate of the National University of Singapore, Chen Chi has distinguished herself in the legal field, having represented her university in the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. She is admitted to the Singapore Bar and has built a robust practice with a focus on international arbitration and high-profile litigation cases.
Chen Chi’s significant cases include acting for the Korean co-licensor of a popular online game in a complex ICC arbitration involving multiple jurisdictions and legal issues. She has also represented a major US technology conglomerate in SIAC proceedings, securing an emergency arbitrator order to restrain the sale of assets by a listed Indian company. Her other notable work includes representing an Australian mining company in a joint venture dispute, securing an anti-suit injunction in a trust case, and defending a PRC investor in a S$30 million misrepresentation claim in Singapore courts.
